Satnav downloads
Route files are no longer available
The 2026 Trophy Welsh Weekender ran on Saturday 12 – Sunday 13 September 2026 and has now finished. The route packs that went with it — the printable PDFs and the ITN, KML, KMZ and GPX files — have been taken down along with it.
They are pulled once an event is over for a simple reason: a route file that outlives its weekend gets loaded into a satnav a year or two later and sends someone down a road that has since changed. The pack for each year is written for that year.
Still available
What is still here
The routes are still described in full
Every leg of the 2026 weekender is still on the itinerary — where it started and finished, how far it ran, and the roads and passes it took in along the way.

The route maps are still there too
Each leg keeps its annotated map, and they open full-screen so you can pan and zoom right down to the junction numbers and village names.

Ask on the forum
The Weekender is organised on the ClioTrophy.co.uk forum, and that is the place to ask about a past route or to find out what is planned next.
How to get in touch
Files for the next one
A fresh set goes up on the itinerary once the following year's routes are settled, in the same formats and in the same place. The forum thread is where that gets announced.
